Bulletin 840E Solid-State Level Switches


Allen-Bradley 840E level switches are solid-state condition sensing switches that are microprocessor based and designed with no moving parts, providing a longer service life and reducing downtime. Their rugged, corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel construction offers an IP67 enclosure rating and allows these compact new condition sensors to withstand harsh industrial conditions and wash-down applications such as liquid level monitoring in tanks, containers, and pipelines.

Switches are available in a DC PNP version with M12 connector or an AC version with DIN valve connector.

Housed in rugged, corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel enclosure, this cost-effective compact level switch is suitable for most fluid applications including: Utilised primarily for liquid level detection in industries such as factory automation, oil and gas, chemical, food and beverage and automotive this level switch is easy to install and has no moving parts, so it is virtually maintenance-free. Plus, the 840E can be mounted in any orientation – top, bottom, sideways, or even in pipe work.
